cedarfallstimes.com/storyDisplay.aspx?sid=news&fid=cft20080314-46558.xmlI just saw this article and was wondering - why aren't kindergartners affected? I could see why fifth graders aren't affected, but kindergartners? Does anyone know? Also, does anyone have the count per school that are affected? I see an overall number of 80 in the paper, but am confused. Didn't the committee recommend handling this through open enrollment, but they didn't send reroute any? Thanks for any info!

After reading the article, I would guess that they are talking about the new, incoming kindergarteners for 2008/2009. Since the district has not had kindergarten Round-up yet, they don't know exactly how many kindergarteners will be at each school. Again, I am only guessing. Hope that helps!
